Information Ministry To Sensitise Nigerians On Attitudinal Change, Terrorism, Corruption

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has stated that the Ministry is set to launch a massive national reorientation campaign, centred around providing a missing link for Nigerians in the war against terrorism, corruption and attitudinal change.

It will be recalled that Lai Mohammed at a separate meeting with all directors and heads of units of the ministry, stated that the Ministry of Information and Culture is the most strategic in the country and responsible to adequately communicate President Muhammadu Buhari administration’s change agenda to Nigerians.

Speaking during his meeting with the Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) and the agency’s 37 State/FCT Directors, said that the change that we all seek will begin individually and that not only must Nigerians buy into the change agenda, they must own it and propagate it.

He said Buhari administration rode to office on the wings of the “Change Mantra” and that is why he called for the special meeting with the NOA, because of the importance of the agency.

The Minister said, “Simply put, the NOA will shoulder the bulk of the responsibility of propagating the change agenda.
Fortunately, the agency seems to have prepared for this responsibility, going by the agency’s mission statement. He said, “Let me elaborate more on the impending campaign. It will provide the missing link in the war against terrorism and the war on corruption.
